I’m an artist. And an athlete.
I’m also a mama to Teddy and Benji, and a wife to Brian. I’m a professional photographer and a communication consultant… and an endurance runner, sea kayaker, ballroom dancer, fly angler, former city councilwoman, and so much more.
I miss sleeping, am getting back to running, and drink a ton of coffee. I commute by bicycle during the week, if I can. My family and friends are my biggest supporters, and I wouldn’t be “me” without them. I have the greatest husband in the world.
Fantastic music, incredible wine, fancy dancing, good whiskey (and gin!), and great beer are much appreciated in our home. 🙂 We have an adorable Jack Russell Terrier…
…and a cute little home close to the Wisconsin river.
This blog shares stories from my point of view- a curly girl with a big smile. I’m missing my thyroid, so I have some unique challenges, but it never holds me back. I love trying new things!
I do a lot of work in water conservation and protecting our water resources, and I’m always splashing around.

We are Wisconsin wedding photographers, who believe passionately that telling your love story is the most important work we do. When we’re not working together showing off the love of our clients, Heidi focuses on her work as a Midwestern commercial photographer, based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She frequently travels within the Midwest, and adores adventures and travel… available for commissions anywhere. Specializing in food and beverages, she uses photos and content to enhance the face of our clients’ brands. © 2019 Heidi Oberstadt. All rights reserved.
