I’m an artist. And an athlete.

I’m also a mama to Teddy and Benji, and a wife to Brian. I’m a professional photographer and a communication consultant… and an endurance runner, sea kayaker, ballroom dancer, fly angler, former city councilwoman, and so much more.

I miss sleeping, am getting back to running, and drink a ton of coffee. I commute by bicycle during the week, if I can. My family and friends are my biggest supporters, and I wouldn’t be “me” without them. I have the greatest husband in the world.
Fantastic music, incredible wine, fancy dancing, good whiskey (and gin!), and great beer are much appreciated in our home. 🙂 We have an adorable Jack Russell Terrier…

…and a cute little home close to the Wisconsin river.

This blog shares stories from my point of view- a curly girl with a big smile. I’m missing my thyroid, so I have some unique challenges, but it never holds me back. I love trying new things!

I do a lot of work in water conservation and protecting our water resources, and I’m always splashing around.
